Faith in my life
My Bible-based faith has been the driving force in my life. God has truly blessed me. He has blessed me with incredible talents in entrepreneurship, public speaking, business and technology. He has blessed me with a loving wife, two beautiful boys, a wonderful family and caring friends. Perhaps most importantly, He has blessed me with the opportunity to do His will by working in the service of others.
At an early age I learned that "to whom much is given, much is expected" (Luke 12:48). I therefore place great emphasis on using my God-given talents to give back to the community. Throughout my professional career there has always been a component of my business and entrepreneurial endeavors, speaking engagements, coaching, writing, and civic and volunteer activities focused on my values and helping others.
My faith and belief in the Bible have always been the source of strength for me. First and foremost, I am a saved-from-sin and graced child of God. My beliefs and spirituality permeate my values, my personal relationships, my business interactions, and my volunteer activities. I thank the Lord every day for allowing me to see another day, for the food before me when I eat, and for the people he has brought into my life. In reading Bible scripture on a daily basis, I (oh, so imperfectly) strive to allow God's word to be the compass that guides my life.
